En 1992 llegó el laureado Buck Showalter. Era la primera de sus 20 campañas como estratega de las Mayores. Estuvo a cargo de los peloteros del Yankee Stadium por cuatro temporadas. No ganó una Serie Mundial, pero su récord fue bastante bueno: 313-268.

Cuando se terminó la era de Showalter, llegó el tiempo de uno de los managers legendarios para la organización de Yanquis: el inmortal Joe Torre. Fue responsable de las estrategias y el lineup desde 1996 hasta 2007. Fueron 12 temporadas en las que dirigió uno de los mejores grupos en la historia de las Grandes Ligas. Ganó cuatro Series Mundiales, tres de ellas seguidas entre 1998 y 2000. Su balance en su era fue excelentísimo: 1.173-767.

Joe Girardi, quien casualmente llegó a ser dirigido por Torre en Yankees, fue el siguiente en la lista. Su gestión de 10 temporadas no fue tan exitosa como la anterior.
