Un año en el que éramos muchos y parió la abuela

Los seremos humanos solemos huir de ciertos estados emocionales. De circunstancias o situaciones que nos generan incertidumbre, angustias o incertezas apenas aparecen en nuestro camino. Debe ser una característica de nuestra especie, el hecho de querer tener todo controlado y pretender sentirnos seguros las 24 horas del día.

Pero no, así no funciona. El mayor problema es que mientras no llega esa situación que nos vuelve vulnerables debido a las incertezas, no tomamos cartas en el asunto; por esa embriagadora sensación de tranquilidad del momento que no nos deja reconocer lo efímero de esa falsa seguridad.

El futbolista suele agregarle a estos avatares de la vida un ápice de inconsciencia. Esto es producto del vértigo y la dinámica tan volátil de su día a día. Suele despertar cuando recibe la batuqueada del momento, cuando se acaba el contrato que le daba cierta estabilidad laboral y tranquilidad a su familia. Es un momento de incertidumbre, que al principio se disfruta por la libertad que genera un periodo de paz y sin presión. Pero a medida que pasan los días, se acercan las fechas de las pretemporadas de los equipos y las noticias de los nuevos fichajes; eso genera cierta ansiedad que se va incrementando a medida que pasan los días.

Sigamos sazonando

Con todo ese abreboca, sazonemos ese caldo de cultivo propicio al colapso emocional, con la situación de esta nueva dinámica mundial con la aparición del Covid. Un ser humano que venía dando tumbos con la estabilidad de su psique, termina recibiendo una estocada a ese balance existencial con esta dichosa “nueva normalidad” que arrancó hace casi un año.

Ojo, aún no hemos llevado toda esta situación a la realidad venezolana de todo este issue, no encuentro palabra más precisa que este término anglosajón; pero si hay algo que he aprendido de estos menesteres de la escritura es a honrar la inteligencia del lector. Así que me atreveré a dejar por sentado el proceso de contextualización a interpretación de mis cocreadores lectores.

A lo que sí haré mención, es llevar todo este mezclote situacional al momento que se vive en nuestro fútbol nacional. A modo de pregunta: ¿existirá alguien con la suficiente empatía como para entender la situación en la que viven actualmente los futbolistas, entrenadores y personal administrativo que forman parte del fútbol en Venezuela, que en estos momentos no tienen contrato o trabajo?

Este año, aún no se sabe cuándo arrancará el torneo, bajo qué formato se realizará y tampoco el nuevo estatus del mercado en general de esta industria. No es un tema de buscar culpables, no pienso que los haya. Los estoicos dirían: las cosas son como son y no lo que quisiéramos que fuera. En estos momentos no quisiera estar en los zapatos de los que toman las decisiones. Dentro de lo que considero, mi diplomacia asertiva, tengo una postura bastante compasiva en relación con los que están en el lugar de tomar las decisiones para este nuevo porvenir.

He sido claro y he mostrado una postura marcada con respecto a lo que fue el Torneo Normalización que se disputó recientemente. Hubo muchas cosas en las que difería desde la ignorancia en la que me encuentro, con respecto a las decisiones que se toman en un espacio de poder al que no pertenezco. Pero esta vez lo veo diferente. Las decisiones que están por tomarse, para este año, ya no se asumen desde la urgencia o la emergencia. Se asumen desde la coherencia y la sostenibilidad de lo que será un nuevo orden en la industria de este fútbol.

Como experiencia personal

Una de las infinitas cosas que puedo agradecerle a Dios, el Universo o la Providencia es que, en esas etapas de cambios de términos de mis contratos y cambios de equipo, todo sucedió naturalmente. Cuando dejé de jugar en el Deportivo Petare, ya tenía una opción muy segura con Atlético Venezuela y la posibilidad de jugar con el Caracas Fútbol Club apareció en el interín cuando Eduardo tomo las riendas del equipo, cosa que le seré eternamente agradecido al tomarme en cuenta.

Cuando pasé al Deportivo Lara, no fue que se terminó mi contrato. En esa oportunidad, fue una compra de mi ficha que solo dependía de mi decisión final. Y cuando volví al Caracas FC del Deportivo Lara, ya la directiva del “Depor” me había hecho saber que no iba a ser renovado y es algo que les agradezco enormemente, ya que podía buscar un equipo con mas antelación y apareció mi oportunidad de volver a casa inmediatamente. Fue algo que fluyó muy natural.

Mis deseos de arranque de año

Solo espero que las circunstancias de la realidad de nuestro país, la nueva normalidad, los caprichos del Covid y la inteligencia de todos aquellos que tenemos que tomar decisiones en la industria del fútbol nacional, ya sean gremiales o individuales, contribuyan a un arranque de torneo que sea sostenible. Que tenga la suficiente capacidad adaptativa como para volver a tener el torneo que todos los que pertenecemos a esta industria merecemos. Desde los jugadores, cuerpos técnicos, personal administrativo, fanáticos, medios de comunicación, sponsors. Hasta los mismos dirigentes.
