Laureano González renunció y Jesús Berardinelli ascendió en la FVF

La Federación Venezolana de Fútbol movió la pajarera virtual de Twitter este miércoles, cuando publicaron un mensaje con la renuncia de su presidente, Laureano González.

Según informó la FVF en su cuenta de twitter @FVF_Oficial que la dimisión se hará efectiva el próximo 3 de abril, después del congreso de Conmebol en Asunción, Paraguay.

Inmediatamente, con la salida de González, quedó como encargado de conducir la federación, el primer vicepresidente Jesús Berardinelli.

Laureano González abandonó el cargo durante algunos meses por un tratamiento médico que se realizaría, posteriormente en febrero tuvo que abandonar el cargo nuevamente para realizarse otros exámenes.

El Consejo Directivo de la FVF entregó una placa de reconocimiento a González al momento de presentar su renuncia, desde el Centro Nacional de Alto Rendimiento(CNAR)de Margarita.

Interino y luego elegido

Laureano González trabajó como presidente interino desde el 2015, cuando Rafael Esquivel debió salir por escándalos de corrupción.

Luego, en 2017 fue elegido democraticamente con 123 de 128 votos posibles, en las que se impuso a Tony Carrasco y Antonio Cabrujas.

Desde entonces, la selección mayor de Venezuela vivió la era Rafael Dudamel, su salida y ahora la llegada del portugués José Peseiro.
