Marcos Espinoza soltó las bridas y habló de Sandovalera

El jinete traqueador Marcos Espinoza reunió los méritos para ser seleccionado como el mejor de 2021 en el Hipódromo La Rinconada. Y es que tuvo la paciencia, tino y capacidad profesional para galopar a la yegua campeona, triplecoronada y Caballo del Año: Sandovalera.

Además, galopó al Potro del Año, Impressive Pluvius, la Potra del Año, Philomena; Silvanella y Melosa, entre otros destacados purasangres.  

Marcos Espinoza nació hace 47 años en Ciudad Bolívar. Y destacó sobre los caballos, ya que fue Aprendiz del Año en 1991 en el Hipódromo de Ciudad Bolívar.

“El 2021 significó un año espectacular, muy especial. Me propuse hacer un nuevo ejemplar, en la versión yegua: Sandovalera. Convertirla en la triplecoronada y de manera invicta”, dijo.

“Igualmente, domé en 2021 una camada de potros de dos años que tengo esperanza de sacar otro campeón, otro triplecoronado. No es fácil sacar a un gran corredor”, expresó Marcos Espinoza.

“Lloré su derrota en el Clásico del Caribe”

“Sandovalera fue muy especial. Desde el primer briseo dije dentro de mí ‘tengo una campeona, será la próxima triplecoronada´, y así se lo dije al entrenador Nelson Castillo”, subrayó.

“En febrero comencé a galoparla y desde allí labramos la Triple Corona. Se logró el objetivo que se había planificado”, indicó.

“A Sandovalera le tengo mucho amor, mucho cariño. Así como tuve desde cero a los caballos Mayoral, Supremo, la yegua Princesa Sofía y muchos tantos que se me escapan de la mente”», declaró el jinete galopador.

“Todos marcaron su nombre en el hipismo venezolano. Y Sandovalera es mi princesa, es mi reina”, soltó.

“Le digo, lloré su derrota en el Clásico del Caribe porque no fue ella por todo lo que le hicieron. Eso no se le hace a un ejemplar. Siento una gran tristeza por esa carrera”, reveló.

“Y no perdió el Clásico del Caribe. Le aseguro si hubiese corrido legalmente, hubiese ganado y fácil”, resaltó Espinoza.

Finalmente, el jinete galopador se despidió diciendo que su propósito es seguir trabajando y pulseando para detectar otro ejemplar “porque tengo un potencial de potros para seguir soñando”.
