El entrenador Nelson Castillo, campeón en el primer mitin de este año en el Hipódromo La Rinconada, va este domingo por la segunda gema de la Triple Corona Nacional en el Clásico Cría Nacional (Grado 1) con sus caballos Rasffttar, Dimaggio y Lagerfeld.
Además, ensillará a Srta. Macadamia en el Clásico Prensa Hípica Nacional (Grado 1), el segundo peldaño de la Triple Corona de yeguas. Ambas carreras se desarrollarán en la distancia de 1.900 metros, 100 metros menos que lo habitual, debido a la pandemia del Covid-19 que obstaculizó las actividades meses atrás.
Nelson Castillo, discípulo del destacado entrenador Gustavo Delgado con campaña en Estados Unidos, llevará al único caballo con opción a la Triple Corona. Se trata de Raffttar, el cual viene de ganar con notable solvencia en el Clásico José Antonio Páez (Grado 1) bajo la silla del fusta profesional Jean Carlos Rodríguez. Fue el primer peldaño de la Triple Corona.
El caballo es ganador de tres competencias en siete salidas a la pista para con los colores del stud Quarterback. Nació y se crió en el Haras Los Caracaros.
Nelson Castillo no cree en nadie para este domingo
“Raffsttar anda en su mejor momento. Y será bien difícil que se lo ganen en el Clásico Cría Nacional. El caballo ha respondido a los ejercicios para la distancia de los 1.900 metros. Sin ninguna novedad”, expresó Castillo.
“Está ejercitando en forma y está llegando a la caballeriza con su frecuencia cardíaca normal”, resaltó.
Además, de Raffsttar, Nelson Castillo anotó a los caballos Dimaggio y Lagerfeld en la misma carrera selectiva.
“Dimaggio se viene de lanzar un carrerón en el Clásico José Antonio Páez. Prácticamente estaba reapareciendo. Ahora será duro en esta prueba, pero tiene que contar con Raffsttar que es el caballo que anda en plenitud de condiciones”, insistió Castillo.
Dimaggio tiene tres victorias en seis actuaciones y es propiedad del stud Salta Monte Racing Stable. Producto del establecimiento de cría La Invasión. Será conducido este domingo por el jinete Carlos Rojas.
Nelson Castillo también tendrá al potro Lagerfeld en el Clásico Cría Nacional. “Lo probamos en la distancia de aliento hace aproximadamente un mes y lo hizo bastante aceptable. Es el único ejemplar que ha corrido los cuatro codos. Por eso, será fuerte rival”, indicó.
Lagerfeld es ganador de una carrera para las sedas del stud Salta Monte Racing Stable. Su jinete: Cipriano Gil.
Srta. Macadamia muy bien contra las favoritas
El entrenador sostuvo que su presentada Srta. Macadamia viene como una hojilla para enfrentar a las cotizadas Sharapova (de 4-4) y Vizcaya en el Clásico Prensa Hípica Nacional (Grado 1), segunda joya de la Triple Corona de yeguas de este domingo en La Rinconada. Tendrá en los estribos al inspirado fusta Carlos Rojas.
“Ahora para esta carrera, Srta. Macadamia sí está en tremenda condición para decidir. Los ejercicios para el tiro de los 1.900 metros los ha asimilado bastante bien. Por ello, no tendrá problemas en llegar a la distancia”, recalcó el profesional.
Srta. Macadamia posee un primero en cinco actuaciones para los colores del stud El Centauro. Yegua nacida y criada en el haras La Orlyana. Crece la expectativa por las dos carreras de este domingo en el marco de la Triple Corona en La Rinconada.
