Otra matrícula revocada en La Rinconada

El entrenador Alberto Salazar se quedó sin matrícula por la actuación de su caballo Beto Bombo el pasado 4 de abril en el Hipódromo La Rinconada, en Caracas.

La decisión la anunció el INH este viernes en la tarde por la junta de comisarios, a través de un comunicado oficial. Asimismo, se totalizan ocho entrenadores y siete jinetes sin matrículas en el Hipódromo La Rinconada, reportaron los jueces hípicos.

La carrera de Beto Bombo

El domingo 4 de abril, el caballo Beto Bombo era el gran favorito para imponerse en 1.800 metros bajo la silla de Francisco Quevedo y el entrenamiento de Alberto Salazar. Sin embargo, el purasangre arribó décimo a 25 cuerpos del ganador El Ferretero.

Luego de la competencia, el jinete Francisco Quevedo informó a los comisarios que el caballo “corrió totalmente negado”.

Acto seguido, los jueces abrieron una averiguación administrativa por la inesperada actuación del caballo Beto Bombo. Llamaron a declarar a Quevedo y Salazar.

El 16 de mayo fue inscrito para participar en la primera carrera en distancia de 1.600 metros y con su nuevo entrenador: Ricardo Rosillo. Sin embargo, Beto Bombo fue retirado por disposición reglamentaria.

Ahora, de acuerdo a los reportes de pista del equipo de cronometristas del INH, el caballo galopó este sábado una vuelta y media suave bajo el mando de su nuevo entrenador Miguel Mejías.
